Goodbye crib! Hello BIG boy bed!!
Kasen is turning 3 next week and I decided it was time he said goodbye to his crib. I am one of those lucky parents in that he never learned how to crawl out of the crib by himself. His crib dropped the mattress to about 5 inches above the ground so he wasn't able to climb out. I just knew it was time for a big boy bed. He will be 3! He was having to curl up at night in his crib because he was too tall to lay straight out. That's no fair...so we went on a search.
We went to about 5-6 different furniture places and found a GREAT deal on a full size bed. Kasen loved going and laying on all the beds. He totally felt like a big boy and he didnt even understand the concept at this point. We kept telling him we were going to buy him a big boy bed, but I dont think he grasped the idea.
The next day Jeremy and a friend went to go pick the bed up. I made Kasen take a nap in the downstairs bedroom while the bed was being put together. So he didn't know that Jeremy was home yet. I went out to get some bedding while he was sleeping too. We wanted to have the bed ready to sleep in when he woke up from his nap.
We finished the bed and this was his reaction! 
AND HE SLEPT HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!

What a big boy! How funny that he goes from a crib to a full size bed! Skips the little piece of crap... haha. I didn't get a full size bed until I was in high school, go figure! =) What a big boy though! It looked like he really enjoyed laying in it for the first time!
So...since you went to all the furniture stores, did you see any that had cute white girly beds? We have katelyn on a twin. Good job, Kasen!

What a lucky kid! A full size bed all to himself1 My girls have a full size bed... but they have to share! Oh well... maybe that will help them become close, or get sick of eachother. (you never know) Fun for Kasen! Disneyland a new bed.... LUCKY!
